The Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous group of feminist activist artists. The members cover there faces with gorilla masks during there public projects that aim expose practices of gender and ethnic bias in the art world, culture and politics. For this purpose, they use attention catching clear visuals, that are often heavily texted based. The anonymity of the group highlights the focus on the cause, while disguising the identity of the artists. The artists work include: posters, actions, books, videos, stickers,… Similar to Dada the focus of the group is on contributing the movement world wide, with a maximum exposure to viewers of all social classes and different educational backgrounds.  Besides the convenience of online distribution, the group heavily relies on printed out materials for actions in Bilbao, Iceland, Istanbul, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, New York, Rotterdam, Sao Paolo, and Shanghai.
